Since Fallout Equestria forces the main cast to take different path, the Kirin where never aided by Aj and Flutershy and when a Megaspell fell within their village by accident, some where instantly incinerated while others suffered an even worst fate. Being able to naturally being set ablaze if angry, the pain for being exposed to such a tremendous blast permanently turned the survivors in screamin creatures. While the process is similar to a ghoulification for normal ponies, they keep a sort of inner combustion which makes them go completely insane from pain.
Charred nightmares keep running endlessly, attacking anything dares to disturb them or which simply cross their path.
They seem to only appear during night time, while daylight makes them temporarily vanish.
Someone beat me to it poo, looks great though! Alot better then I ever could do it ahaha
I never thought I’d see the day.
Who knows, but usually in FoE if something should go bad, it goes bad because is part of the setting to have a lot of tragedy about things of the past.

ooh maybe they’re like those instatute guys from fallout 4 and live that good life of super tech since they weren’t fucked super hard.
My bad.
Well, if you consider that FoE interrupts a part of the flow of the seasons and movie there are 2 options:
This option is what i used for the game (i wrote) this drawing is for.
no i said hippogriffs not griffins. like silverstream.
No. These are based on Niriks and i also have never read PH. Most of these concept arts are based on my own reasoning on what it could have happend.
@4574
Thank you
@Angrybrony
Well Griffins are the same and yaks are never mentioned in FoE.
I guess yaks looks the same since they are so far up in the north that nobody bothered to mega-spell their asses. Being extremely isolated helps in this case
