“Woo, nelly… What a day…” Applejack wheezed and grunted as she finally sat her massively obese body down. The bench groaned and bent beneath her great weight. She couldn’t have walked more than a few dozen steps since she arrived, but with the late-spring sun baring down, her whole body already felt weak and fatigued.

She breathed heavily, trying her best to ignore the onlookers and passersby as they rubbernecked at the 900 pound whale of a girl. Instead, she sadly looked down at the huge slice of apple pie in her hand. Knowing very well that it could be her last piece of dessert for a while, AJ wanted to savor each and every bite. Even with her stomach groaning from being filled to the brim with apple pie, she took a big bite. And as she hoped, it was an incredible taste that she’d never grow tired of.

“APPLEJACK!?” The cowgirl’s ears suddenly rang from the distant sound of Rainbow Dash’s voice. She looked over to her left to find that it was indeed her friend, running up towards her and stopping in her tracks, eyes widening with shock and bewilderment.

“Hey, Rainbow,” Applejack called out sluggishly, “You enjoyin’ the festival?”

Still trying to mentally process what she was seeing, Rainbow explained. “I wanted to see how you were doing with the eating contest, cause I heard you’ve been going overboard, and… JEEZ, YOU’RE HUGE!”

“Yeah, I noticed,” Applejack said with a slight bit of attitude. Feeling burnt out and bloated at the moment, she really didn’t want to talk to anyone right now.

“Well, tell me! How’d it go??”

Applejack simply chuckled as she reached down and shook her massive gut, making her whole fleshy body wobble along. “Chowed down 62 pies in less than 5 minutes,” she muttered proudly as she took another bite of her pie.

“Whoa! So, you actually did beat Rarity’s score!”

“Yes… and no.

“Huh?”

“I would’ve won the darn thing… if I weren’t disqualified.” Applejack explained as she nodded her head toward the sign on her right.

“Disqualified?” Rainbow wondered as she walked over to the other side of her mountainous friend, reading the aforementioned sign. “Pie-Eating… must be under… UNDER 300 POUNDS?! HA HA HA!” Exploding into an uproarious laughing fit, Rainbow nearly keeled over.

“It ain’t funny!” Applejack huffed, “They didn’t put that dang sign up til after I got in, so I didn’t even get to see it.”

“Aw, c’mon. You have to admit, it’s a little funny,” Rainbow said, wiping away her tears of joy. “Man, if only Rarity was here to see you now. You really showed her!”

“Yeah, right. I gained 800 pounds, and got nothin’ to show for it.” Angrily stuffing the last of her apple pie into her fat face, Applejack swallowed hard, almost choking back on the crumbly mush. “Couldn’t even get a free t-shirt. None of them would fit.”

“Hey, I wouldn’t worry too much about it. If Fluttershy’s been able to lose a ton of weight, then I’m sure you can do it too,” the young athlete reassured. “How about I get you something to eat? All this talk about food is making me hungry.”

“No, thanks. If I wind up gettin’ any bigger, y’all are gonna need a crane to move me around. Speakin’ of which, can you do me favor?”

“Sure. What?”

“Call Big Mac and tell him to bring his pick-up.”
