Big powerful enemy not only stormed defenses and checkpoints, but they surprised everyone at a soft target. Better rush them with horse power. They could have at least been clever and make the baddies be smart by evading and luring them away. Honestly they’re written as mooks, figured there be a advanced spellcaster that specializes in traps and debuffs to show how friendship works. Also this was a pony show.
The ROYAL CASTLE Guards are woefully ill prepared for the many big threats in world and the ones we saw took them with little effort, not making use of the powerful pony artifacts at their disposal. If they lack power, trick and delay them while the heroes come up with a strategy if the regular plan fails.
no, the reason we see guards fail is against foe who are far too powerful or way smart for a guards have a chance, plus how the heroes can safe the day if the guard stop the bad guy? deal with a low thief is nothing for guard to deal with it.
