Yay, it’s ready!
Cooking is so fun!
Now it’s time to take a break and see what we have done!
Give him a break.
Ah, ha, ha.
You’ve said a few times that that Spike is prone to falling off ladders and such, yet I can’t remember a single time when that was actually his fault and not because Twilight pulled him off the ladder magically. A lot of physical comedy happens to Spike in this show, it just happens because of the actions of others instead of him.
Really, the biggest problem in this episode is that they apparently decided Spike was a CMC. I can buy not being able to make a good pie, though its something of a stretch since he was in a kitchen with two mares who know how to make pies, and I can even ignore the fact that even basic baking would teach you to hold the bowl while you stir, but the destruction of three rooms moments after entering them goes to far.
And yes, Spike has messed up in his work from time to time, but nowhere near the ridiculous levels of this episode.
The only explanation of this: bad writing (not blaming any particular writer though)
Spike has enough of being portrayed as the loser, he needs more awesome and badass moments.
Who says he has to be good at cooking everything?
I needed this. I love you.
I don’t know which one I should listen to.
