Silverstream seems more like the type who’d try to ship others together and then spaz out at how it worked.
tbh it felt like the rest of the Young Six were just there to be, like the writers wanted a Yona and Sandbar focused episode and then realised “oh right we have these other characters, better have them sit around and play cards I guess”.

I almost thought the writers are going to let Smolder dance with Gallus when I heard that line.
I’m a little disappointed they weren’t, tbh.

The first thing I thought when Smolder said this to Gallus was “Oh, those two are going to be partners at the dance.”
I’m pretty sure the ship is called smollus if I’m remembering tags correctly. Not completely sure what the writer was going for here but yeah I don’t think its meant to be romantic unless they want to imply Gallus is a ladies man or something.

I thought that initially but I think Smolder is supposed to be addressing both Gallus and Silverstream considering they all turn up as a group later on at the dance.
