Point is: This was Twiggles fault.
I prefer the version where he’s got 500,000 years of experience. Give or take, he stopped counting after the first hundred.
Well, on support of that hypothesis, there’s the fact that Stephen Strange is literally has over 10,000 years of experience (magic longevity, different plane of reality, longass magic war, sprinkled with some time traveling) and the pretty purple pony princess having a long history of failed spells, making Twilight Sparkle the more likely candidate to have fucked up the spell.

Well… the brain is inside the head, it would be safe to assume it is Twilight… but then again, due to the very chaotic nature of magic, it might as well be cephalic polymorphism, meaning that their heads just changed form, keeping their minds in their proper bodies… Magic is weird.
