Kirin Queen, Autumn Blaze and Nirik
+_All of these are sold but Nirik, and he’s currently with Traveling Pony Museum but they will be putting him up on their etsy soon and I’ll drop a link here once that happens.

Set of 3 hand crafted kirin custom pony figures from Friendship Is Magic series.
Nirik is the dark one, Autumn Blaze is the autumn colored one and the Queen is the slender taupe/teal figure.
Pony bases are all generation 4.5 toys obvious the queen’s base was originally a Princess Skystar griffin pose. Autumn Blaze was originall a Pinkie Pie and Nirik’s base was originally a Starlight Glimmer.
All 3 bases had the original inner neckplugs removed after a hour of boiling, and the plugs have been replaced with pieces of dowel.
All figures are coated in white gesso, and have leather tails, ears and horns hand stitched from real thick leather. Stitch holes were punched with a leather punch, the scales on their backs are carved in veg tan leather with a leather tool. Nirik’s fangs are white leather. Glued all the tail tufts in the tips of the tails during the sewing process. Tails all have thick wire glued inside and anchored, so the tails are pose-able, came in real handy when trying to achieve aesthetic for Nirik.
Scales on their backs are lined with a strip of leather since veg tan leather is so thick. All paint work on figures is hand done, Nirik has some glow in the dark paint on his eyes, horn tip and mouth. All paint work (except for Nirik) is sealed in Artists Varnish.
Autumn Blaze and the Queen have their manes and tails rooted with mohair. Added extra lines of holes along the necks for accuracy. Queen has a gold vinyl crown.
Nirik’s mane, tail, eyebrowns and hooves are all pimped out in feathers. He took extra work of careful feather layering to get a proper balance for his aesthetic but he looks pretty Boss about now I’d say.
