Paid request to do a customer’s original character design from a 2 inch black funko Spike figure. This is my first time ever customizing a Spike and it was fun. Wouldn’t mind doing more.  
I boiled him then chopped his original head/back spikes off and the flappy ear fin things. I then cut his new ears from leather, and his custom horns are rubber spikes I cut off of a punk spike bracelet accessory I probably bought from Claire’s Boutique over a decade ago. Inner ear tufts are yellow feathers.  
Ears and horns are glued on with e6000 glue. Then made the entire figure base one solid color with white gesso. Hand painted the figure in light blue acrylics, yellow undermarkings, and off white horns. Eyes hand painted, all paint work sealed in Artists Varnish.  
Scarf is hand stitched from 2 layers of blue bias tape stitched together and white tassels at the ends. Words are hand painted on with a toothpick loaded with white acrylics paint.  
Envelope is cut from thick white leather, glued together then I did a circle of antique metallic acrylics with a dallop of e6000 transparent glue to give a wax look, and a red rhinestone in the center.  
My artist signature is on the back of the envelope, date and initials are on bottoms of his feet.
