: YAY Games? More like YAY GREEDS!!!
Yup, the ponified EA is actually worse than actual EA
Inspired by Star Wars: Battlefront 2 lootbox and pay-2-win drama that probably impacted the whole gaming industry, I put the “pay to unlock” mechanic in comic to exaggeration, that makes the game literally unplayable (I mean it). Twilight just can’t get into the game without paying.
The ponified game’s brand name is both a reference to Fluttershy’s “Yay” and my mispronunciation of EA (Games) when I was a kid.
Wait, it’s the 20th comic? Did I really went with this series so far?

Used to be about the experience and the knowhow, pay to win slanted the entire in-game economic system.
Buy currency with RW money, level up twice as fast with RW money, original subscription rate doubled. Exploiting a handful of burnt out whales that don’t have the motor skills to find a new game.
I prefer something like Insurgency: Sandstorm, Red Orchestra/Rising Storm, or Left 4 Dead 2 where everything is available to you from the get-go. You just have to utilize it effectively.
Oh please, this sounds more like pretty much anything made by EA in the last five years. Heck if they thought they could get away with this they probably would.
