Well, she’s a princess, so a king would outrank her. And if she has the authority to promote someone to a higher rank than her own (either because she’s a princess or simply because nobody in the kingdom outranks her), then it would stand to reason that a king could do the same. So I would promote Celestia to Queen, and Luna to Empress.

Ask her who or what moron gave her the idea my dumbass would make a good king. I would then proceed to give the finger to every snobby rich pony I see on my way out of the castle who decides to kiss my butt because I was given power for a day.
 
I’d then just leave and head home after asking to be left alone in my room to play games, listen to music or even just relax with what ever pony would want to spend the day talking to such a loser like myself.
