Mainland China has Christian church, If not breaking the law, The Chinese government will respect the freedom of citizens’ beliefs.Christians often pass through the streets near my workplace and use Megaphone to say: “Trust Jesus, you will have eternal life”  
Buddhism is more popular than Christianity in Mainland China, and Taoism is more secular.

Why should I care what were feelings of the chinesse centuries ago? Hong Kong was a free city so long They don’t think of themselves aa Chinesse and that’s all that matters today. I don’t give a damn if China has historical claim over Hong Kong, it’s citizens does not want to be part of China.  
I’m sorry, but if Germans feel like Poles should all die in concentration camps to make room for german colonization Poles should not take their feelings into consideration. Also the evil party in all of this is China’s government that people protest against in China too. It is not the matter of people of one nation uniting,by that logic Hitler uniting Austria becouse both people spoke German was fair and just. China favours minorities? Oh then all that christians, muslims, pro-democratic people or just anyone Chinesse deems a threat to themselves ending up in prisons is protecting minorities? Oh wow, China seems like such a great country where I can be jailed for having wrong thoughts, I should go live there, I was tired of My freedom anyway…  
I don’t give a damn about political corectness and why should anyone. Feelings have no place in a political discourse or should dictate how should We behave.

Protestors are few , Protestors are dissatisfied, So to harass ordinary citizens are reasonable? most Hong Kong citizens do not like this situation.  
Britain forced China to lease territory for 99 years, But no one thinks about the feelings of Chinese, The lease time expires in 1997 and China reclaimed the territory, That is completely reasonable, The proposal of “one country, two systems” takes care of everyone’s feelings.  
You equate the Chinese and the fascist madman, It means that the Chinese people’s feelings are irrelevant and can be ignored?  
“Tyranny” have is half a century ago, The suffering of the people is from a few corrupt, stupidity and profiteers. The talk of “bullying the minority” is lie, The truth is the opposite, The China government usually Favouritism minorities, Maybe it’s politically correct.

Oh, German citizens rejoiced Poland returned to be a part of german Empire. I doubt Polish people liked that a lot (I am Polish so I know something about it). And I don’t care what british did 2 centuries ago, it was then, We should be more enlightened nowadays, enough to support people that desire their independence especially from a government like China.  
So all Your argument is Chinesse people want Hong Kong to be part of China, and I guess North korea wants South Korea to be a part of Them but thankfully South Koreans have something to say about it.  
And if Chinesse government is tyranical and Hong Kong citizens wants to have nothing to do with it then why the frick would anyone who desires freedom and fairness agree to this?

If you think that sacrifice is normal, Don’t try to force others to sacrifice for them, don’t deliberately harass the lives of civilians.  
China is not foreign power, “Hong Kong was returned to China without it’s citizen’s consent”? Chinese people cheer for Hong Kong return. When Hong Kong was occupied by the British, did it get the consent of the citizens?  
I admit that the Chinese government’s policy of managing networks and popular culture is stupid, look like shooting themselves in the foot.

You are an imperialist then to deny soveregnity to people fighting for their freedom. Hong Kong was returned to China without it’s citizen’s consent. Once free and independent Hong Kong now has imposed laws and practice of a totallitarian regime that desires controll of it’s citizens including censorships, propaganda and blocking information from the rest of the world. Imagine someone one day over Your heads decides Your town has been annexed by a foreign power that now claims to know better than You what information You should consume “for Your own good”, that Your activity on the internet is beeing monitored and information deemed undesirable is censored becouse Your overlord decided so, not mentioning an Orwelian social credits system that divides people into classes. What’s going on there is awfull and I don’t give a shit that western world gave up on Hong Kong to avoid tensions.

You lying, Hong Kong is Chinese territory, China recovered Hong Kong in 1997, The China government allows Hong Kong to have its own Hong Kong Dollar and other systems because the China government follows Deng Xiaoping’s “one country, two systems”, If the British did not accept Deng Xiaoping’s proposal, the war would begin.  
In August of this year, Trump reasserted that Hong Kong is Chinese territory.

Then You think Hong Kong should let China limit Their freedom and impose Their will on Them?  
Would you be happy if someday some foreign power came by and told You that You should obey their laws and if You don’t You will be forcibly taken abroad to be tortured?  
Hong Kong is fighting for it’s freedom from a tyranical government. How do You think such fight can be done without casualities especially that Chinesse governments uses brutall force and misinformation to the point people don’t know who to trust. It is disgusting what’s happening there but the alternative is even worse.

I have not said I approve these actions. I sympathise with Their couse becouse China is increasingly totalitarian country and those who put effort so Hong Kong can remain autonomous city deserve support of those who already have those freedoms They fight for.
 
I’m not in favour of those who smash property and attack people, but it’s a minority that’s beeing blown out of proportions by Chinesse media wanting to show all protestors as thugs.
 
Also majority of protestors condone the vandalisation and just want to be free, unlike Antifa that smashes property and calls it righteous.
