Also, please, follow me on Twitter. Use the hashtag #CutenessShallLast 2019 will be remembered as the end of many beloved franchises on TV. For some odd reason, many creators and companies decided to put down which are actually very popular, beloved, and incredibly profitable, TV Series which saw their birth on this decade. Of course, every year is always the Twilight of a Fictional Works Series, but the strange thing is the coincidence of having finished works that defined the 2010’s decade. For example, “Star vs the Forces of Evil”, even being as strong as “Gravity Falls” is showing its last season, the “Big Bang Theory” has ready its last episode, and the last chapters of “Game of Thrones” being aired every Sunday are taken like a religious event. However, this year will also see its end another very important show of the 2010’s, which not only it’s a very important cartoon for me, but it has been, along with other productions like “The Flintstones”, “The Simpson” and “Ren & Stimpy”, one of the most revolutionary animated series ever. For this Sunday: Pinkie Pie, from “My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic”. Like I have said before, I am, without any shame, a moderate Brony. Since a long time I stopped following the show, but I still really loved many of the episodes I watched before quitting, I actually purchased some merchandise of the series (two plushies and a set of plastic figures of the protagonists), and I even went to watch the movie along with my Twilight Sparkle Plushie, and I don’t regret it. Even if my number of fanarts of MLP:FiM have been little, compared to the infinite you can see here, it’s still a show I have in my heart, and still one of my favorite Preschool Shows Ever. So, of course this news took me for surprise. When I finally decided to watch another Live-Stream of Animat, ready to quit once he brought another Political Obnoxious Commentary, I got noticed that MLP:FiM was finishing this year, and a mixture of feelings came to surface. Again, I stopped following that show since time ago, as much to try other stuff as for lost of interest, but one can’t help but to feel a solid lose once one of your favorite cartoon is finally closing the store. It feels like the end of an age, and it kind of is. You can like or hate the cartoon, but you can’t deny this show changed a lot the industry of animation. Being like a very stupid attempt of giving another chance to a cash cow franchise nobody cared for, this show actually surprised everybody with a high quality work that attracted people way out of their target: the characters were complex, the animation appealing, the stories likeable, and the fandom became as legendary as the Star War Fans or the Trekkies (including many horrible features). MLP:FiM was born in an era of change for the Animation Industry: Disney finally get back at making legendary animated movies, dead-looking channels finally soared from the ashes with masterpieces like “Adventure Time”, “The Legend of Korra”, “Gravity Falls” and “The Loud House”, and the Web Animation got a new Reinassance. MLP:FiM didn’t only prove you could make a quality product with the most unorthodox concept, but also you could go beyond the stars. It didn’t only help in inspiring creators to make more complex Kiddie Franchises (not always succeding), but it also influenced so much the mind of the audience (not always for good). Being a giant proof why the 2010’s was a revival for animation, it makes kind of sense it will leave with it, especially considering other giant animated franchises like “Adventure Time” and “Gravity Falls” left early. Since I stopped watching the show, I can’t tell if the cartoon is leaving still in a good note or like a complete Zombie Franchise, but at least I’m happy it didn’t try “The Simpson” route. I’m pretty sure this franchise will get back in a new shape or form, but least this series won’t be in risk of losing all its dignity like “The Fairly OddParents” did. I’m sad, since I feel like I left the party early, and I even feel guilty for not trying to follow the last chapters. But still, I will try to at least see the last episode, and even make a tribute to this show, in order to thank it for all the good times it gave me; yes, I’m actually feeling nostalgic for a show I watched in College. So, let’s finally pass to Pinkie Pie: Even if Twilight was my favorite, and my second Fluttershy, I couldn’t help but to became fond of Pinkie. Being the Party Girl of the group, she takes as duty to make the people around her happy (facts more than proven on the famous song “Smile”). She is always skipping, decorating, yelling of joy, and always making sure to give a great time to her friends. Sometimes looking like a goofball, Pinkie has proven she can be more than just an airhead: she can get very angry when you are disloyal, she will always defend her friends, and she has to learn some lessons in the bad way. Still, Pinkie Pie is a character you just can’t help and enjoy, and there’s no doubt why she is one of the most giant icons of this generation. Also, her Equestria Avatar look so beautiful. Therefore, I really needed to draw Pinkie Pie as a Toy Girl, since the end is closer. So, the first step was to draw Pinkie as Human. Therefore, I turned her into a Causacian little girl for this. Even if I normally based this pics on their Filly Selves, I decided to base her hair on the one from her adult avatar, her mane and tail, since it was better combed. Since I didn’t have so much to create the clothing, I came up with drawing her on a pink party dress, remembering her love for parties. Speaking if which, that’s why I also decided to put her in a pose of her throwing a birthday surprise, therefore, I drew her with a party blower on the mouth, a present box, a birthday cake on the floor, and holding some balloons, accidentally replicating her Cutie Mark; I swear, this was done without intention. No matter if this show will end this yea, “My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic” will always be one of the most important fictional works in my life, along with “Fullmetal Alchemist”, “A Clockwork Orange”, “Milly, Molly” and “Pokémon Heart Gold and Soul Silver”. I’ll be ready to watch the last episodes of this adventure, and manage to make a commemorative fanart of it, because “Cuteness shall last”. And here we finish another week of joy, guys! Thank you again for staying with me! You are the best! I’ll see you all next week, and speaking of which, what’s waiting for us next Sunday?…I don’t know…to be honest, I don’t’ know anything anymore. Let me explain: Adulthood sucks! Because I decided to not be selfish and freeloader, I had give up so many important things like watching TV for hours, playing videogames, streaming my favorite shows, and even put in last place my dA activity, all in order to fulfill my stupid duties, Freelance Works and chores, while “taking charge of my life” and “trying to finally live in my own”. Man, what an idiot I am! Sacrificing my joy just to be “responsible”. I just someday I can balance my responsibilities with my hobbies, so I won’t be stuck with a day that’s gray and lonely, and I could just stick out my chin and grin and say, oh, the sun’ll come out…TOMORROW!!! As a chance the cake could have a hidden camera when on the day pinkie pie had gone panty-less when she could have heard the sound of a shutter going off when she hopes there wasn’t an up skirt picture taken of her sweet pussy.
