You might not have liked his fish shtick, but I think it had a good hook. And the whole script kinda floundered a bit, so I don’t see any porpoise in singling him out as if he were the sole problem.
I dunno, his jokes kinda flopped for me. Then again, not everybody’s first attempt at comedy is going to go swimmingly – some ponies can trout onto stage and reel in the audience without even trying, but most will just flop around like a fish out of water.
You don’t lake him? I thought he was pretty finny, even if he didn’t reely get that many lines.
Is it that he’s playing a blues harp but getting a full chromatic scale out of it? I think that’s because he’s a rainbow trout.
