“Ratchetsplash”, aka Nitori Kawashiro from Touhou  
Bait: blind bag Applejack
 
 
Please welcome Nitori/Ratchetsplash, seapony engineer and my first blind bag custom! You all may remember this sprightly hippocamp from the Touhorses, or perhaps from the “Seaponies” cover for Super Ponybeat Vol. 2.
 
It wasn’t easy dismembering that little Applejack to add a mermaid tail but it was oddly appropriate, given that AJ was the seaponies’ first victim rescue.
 
Sculpted with Apoxie Sculpt, painted with Liquitex acrylics and sealed with Testors Dullcote spray.
 
I have literally never seen a blind bag in stores. Thanks so much to Snowdrop from Ponychan /merch/ for sending me a nice big clutch of BB figures and giving me the chance to do this.

I think I’m going to hold on to this one for now, guys. Nitori’s my first-ever blind bag custom after all. Plus she’s just too damn cute!
 
I probably won’t be offering blind bag customs anytime soon either. Partly because they’re impossible for me to get without special ordering, which would drive up my prices, but also…I’m pretty well optimized for brushables, and I really don’t want to add another thing to my load.
