Little Strongheart made many times to visit Appleloosa to take the apple pies, and many of those times was seeing Braeburn. The two became close friends and spent a lot of time together. Eventually Braeburn, in love with the tiny bison, he began to go to visit her in her territory so spend more time with her. He revealed his love after only a few months, and found that his love was reciprocated. The two became engaged and married, after they had a daughter, a hybrid, which they called Apple Feather.
 
Apple Feather is a filly lively, joyful and courageous. She loves adventure and spends days to run in the fields and look at birds. His talent is to run fast, light as a feather. She is an ace in rodeos and picks apples in an absurd speed. She is a close friend of Music Glaze, (the rebellious daughter of Shining and Cadance who escaped from the castle because not accepted by her father) that she met when she was returning from a rodeo.
