Hey, some of us would tell you how we feel, but those comments get deleted by the mods citing Rule #0. Stormfront… not all those who aren’t pro-gay are white supremacists, all you need to be is normal.
But you’re right, we don’t need straight pride, because it’s just being normal, every day is a straight day for the majority, I’d assume. And instead of straight pride parades, we should have “Just go back into the closet” parades, movements and rallies. That at least would be far more honest.

Using “power” is actually worse than pride. There’s nothing wrong with gay pride, white power on the other hoof…
calling it “pride” is the problem. it should be gay respect, gay worth, gay power, or gay rights. until the word “pride” stops having two meanings: the gladness for someone’s existence, and the feeling of superiority over others, you’ll find people rightfully confusing them. for instance, the word “agenda” has a non-negative, neutral meaning, but you won’t hear any gays talking about a homosexual agenda.

You know that’s not the kind of pride that that BP was talking about and you are also being deliberately vague and disingenuous about it. Both of you are talking about the bad kind of pride. White supremacist/nationalist pride. Homophobic pride (which they tried to actually call it “Straight Pride” in Boston, which curiously appeared to have no women)
