As someone who experimented with a bathroom filled with warm steam during a shower, having clothes to cover you is preferable to being in the nude.
 
Wait. What? O_o? Why would clothing be preferable during a shower in a room filled with steam? From an evolutionary POV, humans lost their fur so they could sweat and cool themselves more efficiently. Clothing—especially skin-tight clothing like a sports bra—reduces that efficiency significantly, making it far more difficult for the body to cool itself.

With scootaloo saying clothes are over rated at times when during a heatwave she was walking around naked when sweetie belle thinks she was to try and cool off with a sports bra and booty shorts.
