@CoCoNO
I see.
since ponyville its kinda round in the show maybe king of the hill would be a nice style for it…but lets wait to see how it will end like so it maybe gonna be easier to choose
looking forward for it :D
In this pic i’m just planing the layout, i will work on the hills later
and as Impossible9 said the flating “plataforms” are just references
@Impossible9
I dont know any source modeller interested in the proyect (exept myself, i have done some props for the map, they are inside a house or not ported atm)
as for the tf2 aspect i would like to make it a tf2 map i just don’t know what type of game play will be fun to implement, sure can be a trade map but i also would like to make to a ctf map or arena map or control point.
Gmod and SFM get their own version of this map bcuz gmod has physisc and sfm doesn’t
Funfact: ATM a scout can jump across these houses
That ground texture also looks horribly ugly, but I assume it’s not final.
Also, you might want to rethink your texture coloring or lighting, right now it looks really bland and orange-tinted, probably due to the kind of sunlight used. You might want to take measures to make the color saturation and contrast higher in the scene to give back the cartoonish feel of the show.
Is there a plan for a layout or anything like that, or is this going to be a cinematic scene/gmod building/movie making map?
@AaronMk
Those ‘platforms’ are shape references for the level designer to copy from to make the roofs. They probably won’t be in the final map, and my two cents are this probably won’t be a TF2 map when it’s done either.
Those platforms are weird too, all floaty and shit. I don’t trust floaty and shit.
That is, if this is a map to be released for TF2.
