joseph the sona pony: i gotcha
joseph my sona pony: of course
Her wings are spread out wider than the window. If she falls off, she’s falling back.
Edited
joseph my sona pony: mmh ok
Oh, okay, so let me rephrase what I just said.
“No, you cannot! You’ll not take my blood!!! (Slams the door on the Vampire Pony) Begone, Vampire!”
Yeah, that sounds about right.
Vampires can’t enter your house without being invited in, and if she’s not a vampire, then she wouldn’t want your blood anyway.

I didn’t even know the “can’t actually die” part. You know, for all the flak that game gets it clearly had a ton of thought and passion behind it. “You can’t heal or use vampire-killing weapons but you also can’t die and you’ll eventually become a monster” is about as perfect as a game could make vampirism as a status ailment. I never played Legacy of Darkness but Castlevania 64 was one of two games I owned on Nintendo 64 and I remembered playing it tons. The only part I hated was the Nitro part, and it’s not even hard so much as just really annoying: it’s slow and one misstep means you have to start the whole thing D:
True, but 1) your status ailments are automatically cured when you enter a new stage, 2) taking damage won’t kill you while you have Vampire status, even if you have no health left, and 3) if it’s between 23:00 and 00:00, the game shows mercy by giving you 25 hours instead of 1. So getting infected can be situationally advantageous.
Also, there’s a werewolf character in Legacy of Darkness, and his wolf form makes him immune to the Vampire status.

BP got it right, it’s Castlevania 64. One of those games I swear gets way worse a rap than it deserves (It’s camera is bad, but literally as bad as Donkey Kong 64). If you get bitten by a vampire you lose your main attack and can’t recover health with food until you cure it, and if you don’t cure it by midnight the following night you turn for good and it’s a game over :D
Aw, can’t say I know which game you’re talking about. The crystals (I can immediately think of) in games that I grew up with include Donkey Kong 64’s Crystal Coconuts and Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door’s Crystal Stars, heh.
Oh dang messing up again.
She just can’t wholly come in :D
@Bionomaly
“That counts!” (Sounds of swooping and nibbling) :P
@PegaSUS
Bonus points that Equestria has Purify Crystals for sale that cure vampirism, as long as you use them by midnight of the following night. And if you get that reference you grew up with one of the same video games as I did :D
@Bluebolt21
No, but there’s some overlap :D
@Background Pony #568E
To be totally honest I could barely make out what you were saying :P

It’s a reference to Junji Ito’s version of Frankenstein… sort of.
In the manga, there’s a panel wherein Dr. Frankenstein looks out a window to see the monster looking in and laughing at him after killing Frankenstein’s wife and child.
But someone on the internet (I don’t remember who or on what website) made an edit of that panel, where instead of laughing at his creator’s grief, the monster says says “Dude, let me in, I’m a fairy. C’mon, don’t you believe in fairies?”.
