Mortarion hate to be slave of Nurgle.
That why his “patron” don’t give him of all his favours.
Not like Typhus.
The Deathgaurd is Nurgle’s favored sons. Why would that blade be pure?
Maybe or maybe not.
In Dark Imperium, it’s notice that Mortarion despise been a Deamon Primarch of Nurgle, he change little (except for those giant wings) since the Horus Heresy and that his Scythe Silence is clean and pure, free of corruption.
Nurgle likes more either Typhus or Ku’Gath. XDDDDD

Once this battles over, get about seventy different tetanus shots and MAYBE go into Quarantine for a little while. Probably get a few blessings from Celestine while you’re at it.
Injuries inflicted by Nurgle followers are no laughing matter, injuries inflicted by a Daemon PRIMARCH of Nurgle doubly-so.
