Ah love! So beautiful isn’t it? Of course t’was the time of year again for lovin and foal making and if one is not careful one may bump into a lil surprise. Dear Silverstar bumped into one after she returned from her vacation to saddle arabia (artemis’s home country) with arty and thunder. While thunder was out with his new cousins and grandparents things got a lil frisky. Morning sicknesses were her first clue. She was still in quite some denial taking 3 or maybe even 4 tests just to be sure. Now that things were certain there was one thing to do… tell arty.  
She sat at the kitchen table waiting for arty to return home from collecting thunder from school holding a cup off coffee and a small long box. When she heard the door open she heard thunder run up the stairs yelling his hello to her and saying he was going to do his homework so he could play sooner. She chuckled softly waiting for arty to enter the kitchen.  
She shifted nervously in her chair seeing him enter “hey dear how was the weather outside?” she asked casually with a smile as he entered the kitchen. He smiled back to her. “Hey sweetheart! Weather was nice! Sunny, the weather pegasi have done a great job, as always!” He reaches in and kisses her cheek affectionately. The he notices the box on the table. “Hmm, what do you have there, sweetie?”  
After taking a deep breath she slowly slid the box over to the hippogriff standing by her before looking up into his eyes again. “it’s for you dear, a lil surprise.” She said waiting for him to open it. “Oh?” he was a little bit surprised as they only did gifts on special days today was just a regular Friday. “you really shouldn’t have dear” he said before staring to fidget with the box getting it open. When he saw what was inside. A pregnancy test. A positive pregnancy test his eyes widened looking up at her again. “R-really? You have a little…” With a soft smile she nodded her head placing one hoof on her belly “A little bun in the oven.”.  
After he was able to wrap his head around everything that was happening he hugged her tightly of course still being careful his eyes tearing up. “oh sweetheart that is wonderful!!!” he said snuggling her into his chest. “oh my gosh… I love you so much sweetie” Silver started tearing up as well tears of joy rolling down her cheeks as she hugged him back “I love you too dear”.
