This probably could’ve gone on to become an extended recontextualization of Testing Testing 1, 2, 3, but I get the feeling I haven’t been writing this tangent into a corner so much as writing it into a dark alley in the bad part of town. Best to get out while I still can.

Applejack: Seriously? We’ve shared this table for years. There’s a real obvious solution. Mind if I play Captain Spitfire for a sec?
DM: Uh, sure.
(AJ) Spitfire: So, you’re the Element of Loyalty, huh? Saved Equestria a couple of times?
Rainbow Dash: Pretty much.
(AJ) Spitfire: Hmm. Small potatoes.
Rainbow Dash: E-EXCUSE ME?!
(AJ) Spitfire: Look, it’s a good start. But if we accepted anypony who saved Equestria once, we’d have half the population on our team.
Rainbow Dash: I bear one of six ultimate magical artifacts that were hidden for 1000 years!! That’s small potatoes?!?
DM: …Wait a minute. That’s lore. You remembered my lore.
Rarity: Ah, I see. A verbal fight.
Applejack: Now yer gettin’ it. It’s not that she has a problem. She just has a preferred time and place.
