I just did and oh boy you are correct.
Honestly I am not a fan of most OC X Canon ships because the OC usually feels like it was dashed on pony creator in 2 minutes and looks plain as heck just for the purpose of “yeah let’s have a pony to make out with Twilight Sparkle” feel to it.
This one though seems to have at least some effort into making him and looks like a genuine relationship. Maybe if he made a back story to him I can understand more about him.
