I watched the Linus Tech Tips video review again. You’re right, that would probably be about perfect for hooves, and 30WPM sounds tolerable at least.
Another option is the MessagEase keyboard, which I’m typing this comment on. Touch for major letters, touch and drag in the direction of the letters at the edges. One would need a capacitive hoof pad or stylus, admittedly. I do 30WPM on it.
