Page 658 - Oath of Secrecy

No new Fallout is Dragons or Dynamic Duo this week, and I am not happy about that. The former got unavoidably eaten up by my schedule, and the latter failed at the last second due to hardware cable issues. Arrrgh.

I did finish part of one thing this week, though. Some of you may remember me playing a bad adventure game called “Spud!”… Some of you may be aware there was a sequel. Some of you may have watched me play it live. Well, the first of two 2-hour sessions is now up on the ol’ YouTube channel. And it’s still awful.

Transcript:

DM: Got a second? The rest of the party’s asking about you.
Applejack: Oh great
Pinkie Pie: Are you texting her right now? Can WE text her?
DM: This was a change of plans, right? She would have sent a message to her family.
Rainbow Dash: Can we at least read it??
Applejack: Gotta turn off phone. Wasnt supposed to be on. AJ wont want to talk about it until she gets back. End of story. Letter is fine. You know me well enough to make it up.
DM: Okay.
(beat)
Twilight Sparkle: Well? What’s the verdict?
DM: She did send a message. And now I need to think of what that message says. That is, if you insist that you really need to know.
Rainbow Dash: Of course!
DM: Of course…
