More often than not on FiD, a comic is written to more showcase a screencap I like than deliver a joke in pure text. In this case, it’s this procession and Spike’s… stick-flute-thing. Apparently Season 2 was his budding instrumentalist period.

Rainbow Dash: Look, you can’t tell me that after all the stuff she did, Fluttershy wasn’t the MVP this session. I even got in her way! I was messing things up for her, and she STILL pulled through!
DM: Alright, alright. Does Fluttershy accept this offer?
Fluttershy: I… I do. I had a lot of fun tonight. The Breezies were… nice.
DM: Someday I will understand this group, but it is not this day. Fluttershy, you’re carried off in a hero’s parade. Tales of your kindness and perseverence will soon reach Canterlot, earning you a ticket to the Grand Galloping Gala.
Fluttershy: …Yay!
