Rarity: Don’t fret. That’s why I suggested the original plan. We’ll both compete, but I’ll do my best to sabotage myself just enough so that it looks like I still tried. Meanwhile, you perform so spectacularly that it’s clear there was no way you could have been beaten in the first place!
Rainbow Dash: Yeah, but how am I supposed to win when you’re literally hypnotizing the judges?! Normally I’d just say “to heck with it,” but my character actually wants to win and impress the Wonderbolts! GRAAAAHHHHHH!! WHY IS ROLEPLAYING SO HARRRRRRRD?!
