I don’t want to go blow-by-blow, this is probably already too much arm-chair psychology for a kink pic. But I do enjoy having some thought and character behind stuff when I can, because it makes a good guide.
 
I will say Pinkie is interesting, because her and Twilight are opposite ends of the spectrum. They’re both “escaping the system” but for opposite reasons. Pinkie is pure chaos, so the rules don’t apply to her; by definition they can’t. Twilight is pure order: she escapes by learning “the system” so well that she can control it instead of it controlling her. That’s what all the books are about. That’s the dream of science: mastering the world by learning how it works.
 
Neither of them should be too cocky though. They’re still wearing gags. Every rebellion is still its own system.

Well, the way you wrote that out ended up sounding way hotter than I expected. Especially for what’s basically a criticism of the show’s writing. XD Now I just want to know more detail about how the others were gagged and restrained by their stereotypes… Particularly Pinkie and AJ,because of the personality they exude here.

In process I was just going with what seemed fun, and that ended up being clearly themed stuff for everyone other than Twilight. I think I intentionally wanted her to stand out a bit though. All the other’s gear are “cute”, almost playfully insulting references to the rigid identities they’re stuck in. But Twilight is a massively powerful unicorn who can shift herself to any role. Flexibility IS her identity. So while everyone else is being restrained by their stereotype, she’s leaning into the situation instead. That’s why it’s rope and not a book or something: she chose it. Everyone else was gagged. Twilight gagged herself.
 
It could also just be that I thought the rope bridle was hot.

I like that they’re themed to each pony.
 
Twilight’s seems random though. Looks like it would suit AJ more, although her’s works too.
