Yeah I’m really struggling to understand that. If you look at the way the artist drew ears on other ponies, you’ll notice what looks like an extra flap at the base of the ear. That might explain the round shape at the base of the ear here, but it doesn’t explain the rest of it. It was probably a botched attempt at soft shading, but it really does look like her ear has two holes in it.

I think her tongue should be laying on the bottom of her mouth, it looks like it’s coming down from the top. Otherwise great!
