Well, judging from the conversation the dragons are having, they didn’t say if Violent is Stone’s mother or Spike’s mother’s mother.
Perhaps. It’s interesting since Celestia is his surrogate mother, so him ending up in the slums is weird enough.
I wonder if the dragon lands tie into this, if that’s even possible, given that Spike is, supposedly, the last dragon alive.
Not that she’d be employed with Celestia, but that she’d be in hiding due to it.

Spike’s grandmother laid his mother’s egg, then was executed before said egg hatched. Years after it did hatch, his mother met his father and one thing led to another.
That makes less sense than My Cakes explanation of how two earth ponies supposedly gave birth to a Unicorn AND a Pegasus.
Dragons can live a long time.
I wonder if this will set Spike in a journey to find his mother.
