Agent8 asked me if I had any ideas for a Midnight Sparkle picture, this is what I thought of:
 
Midnight Sparkle’s Return  
Part 1/2:
 
It was Saturday night, Sunset had invited Twilight over to her apartment for a sleepover. They had a nice time together, helping each other on homework, some friendly Smash Bros matches, snacks, gossip and everything in between.
 
Soon enough though, it was time they went to sleep. Sunset gave Twilight some spare pyjamas. She had a bit of a struggle putting them on.
 
Twilight: Uggh. Oof. This top is a bit on the tight side, don’t you think?
 
Sunset: (Chuckle) It’s alright. They’re just an old pair I had a few months ago. I’m about 50 pounds bigger than you so… It’s alright to leave your belly out. No one else can see you.
 
Twilight: Hmm.. I guess you’re right. You know, being this big does have a lot of downsides. Tight clothes, narrow hallways, getting stuck in doors, getting tired easily-
 
Sunset: But, Twilight, it’s alright. I go through the same problems and I’ve learned to live with them. I’m sure this belly have yours has something good about it. (Rubs Twilight’s tummy in comfort)
 
Twilight nods anxiously and climbed into bed with Sunset. 2 hours of sleep had passed and Twilight had drifted peacefully to sleep. When suddenly, she could hear a familiar voice in her head…
 
Midnight: Twilight? Oh Twilight? Guess who has come back?
