She’s definitely found peace with her lack of flight and lives her life to the fullest despite her disability, and I admire her for it greatly.
 
It would still be a better use for the wish, though, and I can’t help but wonder how Scoots will react when the idea inevitably crosses her mind days later.

OP, have you forgotten that no pony knew that each petal represented a grantable wish until after the fact? Its status as an unknown was why Twilight sought reference material on it. This image is very dishonest.

The thing is, it wasn’t stated at first whether they explicitly knew that it was able to cast wishes. When Twilight and Fluttershy arrive at Appleloosa, they say the following;
 
Twilight Sparkle: Well, once we read Shadetail Evergreen’s warning that the flower grants wishes, it wasn’t a stretch to think they wished themselves to the fair. It’s all they were talking about.
Fluttershy: Or maybe, since we told them they were too young to come, they wished to become grown-ups, then came here and caused some kind of trouble that led to a town-wide panic!
 
So it’s quite possible they didn’t know it did that until after the CMC inadvertently made their first wish, at which point there was only one left. And whether you’d have the CMC wish themselves young again or remain physically adults to preserve the last wish could potentially go to Ocarina of Time-levels of twistiness with timeline splits and all that.
