I think we have passed the “Trick” Portion of this game.
 
The crusaders have desided to stop raiding candy mountain, and instead team upp with the abominable Spike in order to secure an even bigger hoard. Because when you have a small chunky monster who can turn into a bigger muscular monster as a friend it tends to rake up the scare factor.

This isn’t even the first time The crusaders have used … I mean taken aid of their friend to secure some kind of goal
 
All the charachters are dressed up as charachters from the Darkest Dungeon video game.  
Spike is playing the Abomination, And the crusaders are playing… well, the crusaders. And the fiend they’re up against is the dreaded Collector. A yellow robed figure that can show upp randomly in your dungeons to … erh … collect. (In this case your candy - the fiend.)
