Probably but……………………………there’s no drawback. I just am, but like most social issues, there is no conclusion, the struggle is it’s own point.

Be that as it may, dressing up as another race is offensive, even if his friend is neither amused nor offended by the costume in question. It would be a bit like coming to school, wearing blackface, even if your friends write it off as a tasteless joke, many other members of this community will find this offensive. The fact that something is offensive, does not forbid you from engaging in such actions, but don’t be surprised when the judgement of your peers comes results in massive overreactions to what would otherwise be harmless frivolity.
Sandy has a history of dressing up as his friends, I don’t think he’s being insensitive. If he thought it’d offend her he’d be smart enough not to do it.
