(The scene then cuts to nighttime at the outdoor auditorium. Practically everycreature at the school showed up for the finals. Team Aurora, the Guardians of Harmony, along with Vynal, Bismuth, and Kris were sat in the front)  
Alex: You guys are going to LOVE the Dazzlings, their singing is phenomenal! Almost as good as mine!  
Kris: Yeah, they sound like great ponies!  
Bismuth: Yeah, but what about your most prized students? “The Star Students?” Aren’t they going to be performing tonight too?  
Mae: Oh, yeah but they’re NOTHING compared to the Dazzlings!  
Kris: What?  
Rainbow Dash: Yeah, the Dazzlings make them look like trash!  
(Kris and Bismuth looked at eachother)  
Bismuth: Are you guys feeling alright?  
Toy Chica: Never better!  
(Just then, Twilight goes up onto the stage)  
Twilight: Good evening everycreature! And welcome to the finals for our first ever battle of the bands!  
(The crowd erupted into applause)  
Twilight: We would like to thank you all for coming out tonight. Unfortunately, we have a minor setback in tonight’s schedule. You see, one of the bands who were supposed to play tonight, The Star Students, have failed to take their place. So in their place, will be Sunny Daze and the Golden Rays. Now without any further ado, let’s welcome them to the stage!  
(The audience claps and Vynal looked worried)  
Eris: Huh, guess you won’t be hearing the Star Students after all.  
Gregg: WHO CARES!  
(They all share high-5’s and Bismuth and Kris look suspicious)  
Vynal: I need to use the bathroom.  
Jay: Wha- the show’s just about to start!  
Vynal: Sorry, gotta go when you gotta go.  
Char: Fine, just make it back before the Dazzlings.  
Vynal: Right……  
(Vynal began to make her way through the crowd in search of the Star Students and Sunny Daze and her band started singing their cover of “Nothing Breaks like a Heart.” The seene then cuts to underneath the stage with the Star Students. Gallus ramming into the door trying to break it down)  
Smolder: Give it up Gallus, you’ve been trying at this for hours. It’s not gonna open.  
JJ: I don’t think it matters that we’re trapped down here. I don’t think the counter spell would have worked anyways.  
Gorzan: Of course it would’ve worked JJ, assuming that a certain band dude didn’t try to hog the spotlight everytime we tried to play it!  
Gallus: Hey, it’s not my fault you guys sound like a group of dying goats!  
Sandbar: You weren’t hitting the right notes either Gallus!  
Gallus: Me?! I’m just trying to make sure my band rocks as hard as it needs to!  
All: OUR BAND!  
Napstablook: Oh no….. (Backs into a corner)  
Smolder: It might’ve been your idea to start the band Gallus, but that doesn’t make it your band!  
Gallus: I’m the one who writes and chooses all the songs!  
Occelus: I write songs, you just never let us play any of them!  
Silverstream: I thought this was going to be fun, but you know what? THIS ISN’T FUN!  
Gallus: I WISH I NEVER ASKED ANY OF YOU TO BE IN MY BAND!  
Deedee: I WISH I NEVER AGREED TO BE IN IT!  
JJ and Smolder: ME NEITHER!  
Everyone Else: SAME WITH US!  
(They begin arguing and bickering back and forth, their negative energy seeping out and rising to the ceiling. Sunset looked at them and up to the ceiling. The seene then cuts back to Sunny Daze and her band just finishing up their song. The audience applauds them. It then cuts to the Dazzlings backstage waiting for their turn. They then catch sight to the negative energy seeping out through the cracks in the stage. It then cuts back to The Star Students still fighting)  
Sunset: Stop! You have to stop! This what they’ve been after all along! They’re feeding off of the magic inside you!  
Sandbar: How can they be using our magic? It’s the magic of friendship!  
Sunset: Ever since you started this band, you’ve been letting the little things get to you. I didn’t say anything because I didn’t feel like it was my place, not when I was so new to this whole “Friendship Thing.” I still have a lot to learn. But I do know that if you don’t work out even the smallest problems right from the start, the magic of friendship can turn into something else.  
JJ: You’re right, all these problems have just been weighing us down.  
Ocellus: We should have been working together as a team instead of fighting.  
Smolder: Yeah, we suck.  
Zap: Well there’s still time to turn this around! We just have to get out of here!  
(They all run up against the door but it was then blasted open with a ray of magic from Vynal)  
Vynal: Guys! There you are! I’ve been looking everywhere for you!  
All: Professor Scratch!  
Vynal: The Dazzlings are about to go on, if we want to do the counter spell we have to do it now!  
Smolder: Time to prove that we still got the magic of friendship inside us!  
Silverstream: So, what version of the counter spell are we going to play?  
Sandbar: I don’t think it matters what song we play, as long as we play it together, as friends!  
Gallus: I Know just the song! Oculus has written a really great one.  
Vynal: Come on, let’s go!
