I count 5 moments with the mane six in the show. 1 for every 2 seasons more or less. Quite low imo.

I do genuinely wonder if they were put off doing those kinds of jokes because of that.
Maybe they don’t do those gags too often, because some fans fixate on those, or something.
Heck, I remember some complained about the brief Applejack “inflation” gag, complaining it was “too fetishy.”… (I miss the days when everything wasn’t considered a fetish, and just a funny visual cartoony gag.) Of course, it’s ok when Woody Woodpecker, or something does it…
Nothing against those that do like inflation fanart, and such, mind you. That’s their business.

Same, but I would’ve preferred seeing all of them getting fat by stuffing themselves with donuts. They deserve it after all they’d gone through. But I’m glad for the few weight gain moments with Pinkie and the others that we got.
It would have been a great little send off for her to have gotten fat stuffing her face with victory donuts. I’m just surprised that such a gluttonous character had so few fat moments.

Funny or not, she still should’ve gotten fat. I mean, they just survived the apocalypse! Why not get huge? Personally, if I survived the apocalypse, I’d be telling my dietician to suck it.

Exactly. It was only like 14 muffins (a small helping by her usual standards) yet she got very fat from them…until the plot moved on in which case she was suddenly her normal self again.
Yeah, because when she ate the nasty muffins in Starlight’s town she got fat and tumbled down the basement stairs IIRC

Personally? I think that it all depends on what’s funny at that particular moment. If getting fat in that particular moment is funny…she’ll get fat. Otherwise, no effect.
Considering how she moves, she’s probably got the metabolism of a nuclear reactor.
