Description
Picture for the Derpibooru art event celebrating MLP:FIM´s 9th anniversary. As the series wrapped up last weekend, too, the pic is intended to give a retrospective on the character growth of Twilight during the show, as she is the main character (and also my favourite..). Originally i planned to draw a larger picture with all the Mane Six included, but unfortunately i don´t have the time to finish such a project right now, so i went with this more simple sketch.
There’s also “Series Finale Blues,” but that seems reserved for sad pics, rather then drama, anger, or controversy.
I would say this is our best bet because it already exists and I’ve seen plenty of images that were more depressing about it, hence why I initially hid the “end of ponies” tag.
“G4 end drama” could also be lumped together with any scandal-related things like when people harass the writers on twitter because of the final. That’s a little bit different but similar enough of a thing that maybe it’s okay to let them be lumped together. Or maybe that thing could get its own, more specific tag - like “series finale shitshow”.
There is a tag called “G4 End Drama” but there are only five images there. Maybe someone can fill it up?
Some images under the tag are quite positive, optimistic, or respectful actually, so what should a tag for the positive/bittersweet ones be called?
End of Ponies is just for all images of the end. I’m not sure there’s a tag you can block that will only cover those images. A lot of them have the “series finale blues” tag but there are also some fanart of the characters feeling sad with that tag. Maybe “drama” tags or a combination with them?

My personal interpretation was that it was a more “THE END IS NEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRR D:” kind of description, with doom-and-gloom and other negative tones, as opposed to a literal acknowledgement that the show is ending. My take was much less neutral.
I didn’t want to see negative images like that in part because of my firm belief that the ride will never actually end and until recently, most of the images with that tag seemed to be really depressing and whatnot, so I thought it was reasonable for me to hide it in my filters.
If my interpretation of “the end of ponies” tag is right then this image shouldn’t really have that tag, because this is a much more positive farewell to the show and it doesn’t give an “it’s all over” vibe like other things I’ve seen. But the thing is idk if everyone else sees that tag the way I do.

She’s still around, just got a kingdom to rule.
