Lyra and Bon Bon separated during all off this but Big Mac and Sugar belle stayed together in Ponyville.
 
Big Mac and Sugar belle are the only pairs from different type of pony that not been separate during this.

Yeah, that is true. However I think I have a pretty good headcanon for that one. You could just say that they both felt that Cloudsdale was the safest place for Scootaloo at the time and with no access to a cloud walking spell Hoilday had to stay behind.
 
I mean the likely Meta reason is that they were just making large crowd shots out of character assets and some part of the team didn’t really think it all though when putting it together.

In the pegasus version of this pic, Scootaloo and Auntie Lofty were there together too, with Holiday nowhere to be seen. That was kinda weird.

Wait I didn’t notice it at first but they actually remembered the Hondo Flanks and Cookie Crumble actually existed in the end. I don’t think they had been even seen in the background of the show since like season 5 or something.
 
Also Lyra what the heck? (though the same can be said about Bon Bon too, she’s in Ponyville)
 
Edit: Turns out it was actually season 6 they were last seen before this. Also, I’m headcanoning that Lyra was visiting someone in Canterlot (likely Moon Dancer) while this all went down.

So Bon Bon and Lyra were separated while these race riots were going on?
