Makes me think of this guy from summoner wars actually…
“No one is quite sure exactly what the Seer is, but Rallul took him in at Mundol’s advice. The Seer has had an easy time finding his niche within the company, though many find the odd proportions and strange angles of his body unsettling. Indeed, many have even questioned whether the Seer is masculine or feminine, or whether either term applies to people of his race. The type of magic the Seer employs also sees heavy speculation. Some have tried to claim it is a type of chronomancy, and that the Seer manipulates the fabric of time. Still others have argued it is a more elegant form of psychomancy. The truth is more grotesque however, for the Seer does not practice magic so much as vampirism, feeding off the stolen destinies of his victims and extending his own path to glory.”
Yeah, sorry for the massive text dump, but that’s what it reminded me of all of a sudden.
The potential this episode has is incredible though, imagine a farmgirl Rarity? A timid Pinkie? Hyperactive party animal AJ? Fashionista RBD? A Sonic the Hedgehog Fluttershy?
This is…highly intriguing, I must admit. I mean that in a good way…though I am worried (going by the leaked images, mind you) that it may end the season with a bit of a downer…but, as usual, I’ll take a wait-and-see approach before rushing to judge
Twilight couldn’t make a cutie mark spell on Apple Bloom in COTC, remember? How can she perform one now?
Either she has to become an alicorn to perform this, or she already has alicorn tier powers by this point. :/

Things are getting interesting.
She couldn’t use her magic to give Apple Bloom a cutie mark, in any case, at least not back during Season 1.
But maybe Twilight was mistaken, and magic can indeed go farther than she thought.
They can’t use magic to create cutiemarks, but apparently switcheroos are legit.
That was when Twilight was weaker.
But now, she’s probably 10 times more powerful than before.
Well, that IS the whole point of the Cutie Marks.
If this wasn’t just by accident i would say: Well played HUB.
