Sergeant Reckless join the fight !
Couldn’t find a model for her, so it’s a recolored Sunburst texture.
I also couldn’t find a way to bend ears correctly with a helmet - so wearing it simply reduce the ears’ size to 0, hiding them.
Main changes here are improvements to the “look around” task.
It’s now smoother and pick its target based on various parameters, both on the objects and the pony’s preferences.
Apples and other mundane objects are only considered when really close, Bombs and other threats get the priority even if the pony was already looking at something else.
This is also the start of the emotion system, although at that point it could only put floppy ears on/off to express distress.
The interaction system got added here, but was limited to just detecting what’s in range and what’s its name.

So when are you adding the gore?Thinking long term a fully simulated Ponyville would be neat.
Give everypony a routine to follow and such.
An example being Rarity going out gem digging with or without spike whenever her stock runs low or just every third day or something.
Probably extremely difficult to do something like that though without the engine getting a bit bloated.

It’s intended to be an action-RPG / platformer, with some minor town management & social interactions.
That’s said it’s still pretty early in development, so it might take another direction if I find a better a idea.
