Apple Jack – The birth mother of Zap. They have a special bond. Apple Jack didn’t want her daughter to feel as if she was trapped to work on the farm but Zappy loved working on the farm.

Personality: Zap is very much a mix of her parents. She is a hard working farm gal but she also loves to fly high with her friends. She is a hard worker, and is always here to help her friends.
 
History : Zap was born when AJ and Dash went to Twilight for help. The princess of friendship was more then happy to help. Zappy is a mix of both her parents, while Rainbow Dash was off touring with the wonderbolts. They agreed that Apple jack would be the one to carry the foal. When Zap was born it was right in the middle of Zap Apple season. Hence her name. The whole farm filled with joy. Everypony came to meet the new baby.
