Because Ravana (Thotsakarn or Dashakantha) was a monster who ruled over a kingdom of monsters, the colourful plant humanoids of the Republic of Porashon have started worshipping him as their war god. They did so to make fun of their enemies calling them “monsters”, by presenting themselves as “monsters who are instead more civilised and better than you blasphemers”.
