Pretty sure the relationship is much more direct, akin to that of the writers; the VAs also worked on productions by All Spark / Boulder Media, unrelated to DHX.
Hasbro doesn’t have a lot of skin in this game anyway. The VAs are employees of the contractor/s that Hasbro hired to do a specific job of work. Hasbro taking any public stance on this would be equivalent to them trying to chastise Walmart because some guy in a warehouse stubbed his toe and cursed while loading a pallet of MLP minis.
Unreasonable and not going to happen. The problems are digital assets leaking to public, again. And the privacy of voice actors being broken.
People shouldn’t be flaunting or asking the actresses about their bloopers, since even if they’re fine or find it funny, the privacy of their recording has been broken. Its just an unnecessary fear that whatever they record in privacy of the recording booth, could go public one day.
That said, no reason to put the genie in the bottle now that its out. The leaks are a huge treasure hoard to fans.
Not hire them again for more lines (specials, movie, g5, other shows), or just sue them.
Anyway, these types of reels are common, but usually they’re released years after a show’s over.
What are they gonna do? Fire em? Cancel the show?
Voice actress outtakes. It’s ridiculously hilarious. Guess it was leaked cos I can’t imagine Hasbro was okay with the voice recordings of their MLP VAs swearing a storm after flubbing lines being intentionally put put. Could be wrong tho!
