True; this would not be a cheap card in most Standard environments.
when you say other lands may as well not exist, do you mean like basic lands? because not everyone can afford to pay 12 to 20 dollars for one card
What else is there? Between the Onslaught/Zendikar fetches, Ravnica shock lands, and Alpha/Beta duals, other lands may as well not exist.

It puts the land into play tapped. Turn One, Polluted Delta is better unless you’re playing artifacts.
Rarity is close to the tree.
