It started out as a wing practice but I guess it just turned into some form of reference sheet for Atlas’ wings? AND I MADE ONE FOR HIS SISTER SO HEHEYY

Ok so in my AU of Equestria, all alicorns have four wings (Two big, two small), and all winged ponies (Alicorns and pegasi) also have tail feathers. Unicorns also have a longer tail, and earth-ponies have longer fur. Now this is definitely similar to Earthsong9405’s style of drawing ponies, and you’re absolutely right! I love her artstyle and it’s super cute and she’s a massive inspiration of mine when it comes to my MLP art. So naturally I copy everything she does.

Not really. Duh. I just felt like the little details she adds to her characters really add some life and variety between the ponies. So I don’t claim to be the CREATOR of those minor traits, not at all! It’s just a small, dope headcanon that I felt like implementing into my designs, too.

BACK ON TRACK: They have those traits, so Atlas and Aurora aren’t the only ones with that trait because they’re “typical OP alicorn OCs”. Just like how Luna and Celestia control the night and day, Atlas and Aurora control the circle of life. In Equestria that is. Not the rest of the multiverse like their human king and queen counterparts. Now THAT would make them OP.

My comic has a lot of sub-plots running together with its main plot, and these two belong in the latter plot. So don’t expect this to be all that you’ll see of them.

Aurora

Aaaaaaand if you’re curious about the AU, you can read up on a lot of the Alicorn lore in the family tree linked below! It includes the canon MLP alicorns, together with some alicorn OCs of mine, plus a summary of their history and some plot stuff in the description. I wanted to make it for a long while now, because the nature and family of alicorns had always kind of bothered me because of how blurry it was.
So for the sake of this AU, I created my own. (Atlas and Aurora went through some slight design changes and tweaks and so did every one else basically, lol.)
