A lot of people here (like myself) see lots of character in her, and despite how much of a villain she is, still want to see redeem qualities in her.
The point you made is similar to a lot of the
argumentsdiscussions people have had regarding if Cozy Glow in a villain with no redeeming qualities, the biggest difference with her is that she’s a (evil) child and Chrysalis is Queen Bug MILF who no matter how much she’s involved in evil plots people (like me) still want to ship her (with everyone).Chrysalis should be the exception rather than the norm, due to her actions in the show.
A variety of shipping options (to include not shipping with anyone) makes for a healthier and more diverse fandom~

Still not a fan of the idea of chrysalis hooking up with either of them.
I’d like to believe that he can see through some of their schemes, but like BBB said, he has a heart big enough to forgive and love them both.
I’d like to believe that after Chrysie and Cadance plot and hatch their schemes to keep Shiny to themselves and make the other look foolish in the eyes of Shiny (and the audience), but his big heart always forgives them and brings his two
wivesback together again~I think Swiss Cheese’s first two-parter would cause Shining to suspect her.

shining armor is a goddamn moronexists for (many) reasons. I like the narrative that he’s too gullible to catch on to the schemes of either Candy or Buggo, but he’s also got too big a heart to think anything but the best of both.Yeah, I’d pay money to see a mini-series of this.
When it comes to Cadance and Chrysie, they would probably be working against each other, unless it involves getting something they want out of Shining Armor, then they end up calling a temporary truce and work together as a team. Then like two seasons later Shining Armor trys to convince them that thy actually are friends and they both adamantly deny it.
