Understandable, but “stealing” would be claiming you made it, or tracing it, and such. That’s actually happened to me before on DeviantArt a few times… (Some of my art was even stolen, and used as “Clip Art” on a clip art site.)
 
Though, I suppose it’s probably more polite to ask permission to repost somebody’s art on another site, even an archival site like this.
 
Back in the Ponibooru days I was actually flattered somebody liked something of mine to repost it there. I didn’t mind ’cause they still gave me credit, and linked back to my page with the source link. It was this pic BTW. >>65825

You’d be surprised how upset some artists get when they discover their art is being reposted here on Derpibooru. (Even with proper credit given, and source links linking back to their original page, basically giving their art pages free advertising, and such. Though, I guess some don’t want attention.)
