“Oh GOSH!!!!!! What a way to start the month. So remember the art I made for November that got me all the attention? I happened to come across a member on Derpibooru, who goes by the name, Astrum. And Astrum just wrote a fanfiction around one of those drawings.
I’ve actually read it and…. Oh my gosh… It’s fantastic. There were extra moments he wrote in that had me bursting out laughing. It’s beautiful. I love it.
It was so great, I decided to draw this.
It’s a scene from the story written, with some extra thought bubbles I added that mirror sentences from the story which in turn where inspired by comments posted by on the Derpibooru post of the original photo. From the looks of it, it seems Silverstream finds this story adorable whilst Gallus has the normal reaction many characters from cartoons have when they discover a fanfiction for the first time.

This looks almost exactly like what I was picturing while writing the story! Their positions, their expressions, their body language, implementing dialogue from the story as well as extra thought bubbles. I love the details as well, the way Gallus is tucked snugly into Silverstream’s embrace, the hearts around both of them and in Gallus’ eyes, their tender expressions. And he even included Silverstream stroking Gallus’ chest like was described in the story and it’s fantastic! And there’s all of what I liked about the first picture; the size contrast, Silverstream’s shape, their body language, etc. Ugh, it’s all so adorable!
Their reactions are also an awesome touch! lol I love how Silverstream thinks it’s extremely cute while Gallus seems to be gobsmacked, it’s hilarious! I’m noticing this artist is really good at drawing facial expressions.
Honestly, this is just wonderful in pretty much every way. So freakin’ cute, lovely, and funny I’m gonna melt, I swear! Fits very well with the feel I was trying to give the fic and I’m flattered that he took the time to do this. I agree that someone should definitely color this, it would look even more phenomenal. Perhaps James A Williams, since he did such a solid job on the previous works. Regardless, looking forward to more from this artist.
Also, on a side note concerning uploading it to FimFiction, I currently have an account up and running. I’m touching up and seeing if I can upload the story for this pic along with the few other fics I’ve made, just to get started. Maybe I’ll provide a link to the account in my Derpibooru profile once I have a few stories officially submitted. Should be within the next few days.
