Drizzy has kept silent for long enough! After hanging out with their friend Countdown, Drizzy finally decided to talk to Plume about the obvious feelings the he had for her. To Drizzy’s surprise, Plume was in complete shock and denial.
 
“Countdown would tell me if he had such… thoughts. Wouldn’t he?”
 
Drizzy smirked and shook her head. “Not if he’s afraid of what you’ll say! I mean look at you Plumage, you’re as gorgeous as a doll and as sweet as honey. He probably thinks you’re, you know… out of his league or something.”
 
The thought of her dear friend Countdown harbouring secret feelings for her puzzled her. Of course she’d have noticed this, wouldn’t she? Yes! Especially if someone as silly as Drizzy noticed. She shook her head and gave her flying friend a firm stare.
 
“You must be mistaken, that colt could never hide something like that in front of me. We’re friends for Celestia’s sake, I know he’d trust that I’d take him seriously if he truly did feel that way. You must have read the situation wrong Drizzy. Now if you excuse me, it’s getting late and I need to get some rest.”
 
With that Plume turned and headed down the road towards home, seeming to have put the thought out of her mind. Drizzy watched her walk away with a sad expression, worried her friend would never be able to see what was right in front of her. But she decided to let it go, knowing she did what she could and that Countdown would have to do the rest.
 
‘Countdown… you would come to me… wouldn’t you?’ Plume allowed herself to linger on that one thought before deciding to ignore the rest which seemed to be popping into her head.
 

 
What a fun continuation on a couple of my Pony Pals :) Do you think Plume will ever get it through her head that her friend could have feelings for her? Will Countdown finally come out and say it?
