Cheaper to have an entire infiltration team in one location and exit another way, maybe? Put 20-30 lings in a house, have a few ‘official’ identities that live there, have the rest of the crew work drifter jobs or gather love to support them all. Dig out if they need more space.
Then (if after societal integration) they just kept doing it because it’s not like they weren’t comfortable doing it.
So she, personally, can be strapped for cash, while the home base is relatively nice.
